Cream Sherry Style: In 2014 we entered 5 wines in the San Diego County Fair. The competition was open for entries from around the World. We were fortunate enough to win 5 gold medals, Best of Division, and Winemaker of the Year.

Port Style

Brooking Vineyards is located in California's first wine region, San Diego County. Our climate is perfect for this old World style of winemaking. In California it became know as Angelica.

History

This style of winemaking was discovered in the 1600s and gained popularity in Portugal, Spain and in California where the Fransican Friars used the method to make rich, sweet, robust wines favored by their King.
